For MONTHS we have been calling the stations, requesting online and texting the stations yet neither "Break Anotha" or "How Many Words" got the spins that they deserve.

Idol Bored's SecretaryOfPlaid strikes again! This time around she sat down and had a great interview with A.D.D. keyboardist Kent Halvorsen. Here's a snippet of the interview, along with a link to the full shebang:

IB: First things first... how was the Bellingham Show?

KH: The show in Bellingham rocked! It was the Nightlite's last show and it was sold out and crazy. We played with our friends DJ Ramiro and The March Forth Marching Band.

IB: After flying all over the country and playing for millions of people on the talk show circuit, did it feel strange to come back to play the home turf?

KH: It felt great. I don't get nervous on stage anyway, but last night I had an extra confidence and comfort level that was created by the experience of playing for millions of people. I'm a fortunate man.

 ADD has incredible chemistry and fantastic sound.  Which band member do you mesh best with musically?

I will have to start the answer to this question by telling you that I have known everyone in the band for 5 years or so.  I used to live with KJ Sawka and play with him in a project with Michael Shrieve (Santana) for some years, I met all the other short bus freaks in ADD through him.  We're a band of brothers even though we haven't been this band for very long.  Plus I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings in the band by choosing favorites, they're sensitive you know.  Hmmwahaha.

Do you see yourself staying with ADD long-term?  Why or why not?

This relates to the first question doesn't it?  Well, I love everyone in the band.  We have lots of fun and amazing opportunities so I think with all those variables make me not want to punch the time clock anytime soon.

Even Grown-Ups Have Idols

Blake Lewis brought a new light to American Idol. Many of us middle of the road Idol fans were suddenly obsessed with the beat-box boy formerly known as BShorty. Blake Lewis with his good looks, witty humor, charm and amazing musical talents suddenly had us glued to our tv's and telephones every Tuesday and Wednesday night like never before. During the course of our insanity we managed to discover that all Idol/Blake Lewis fans are not "kids" and some of us are actually "grown-ups" who were bitten by the Idol bug known as Blake Lewis. We were infected! We forged a friendship and even adopted a name for our little fan club now known as the Flower Girlz. We chatted daily on that OTHER Idol board but after countless Bleeps and Gags we realized that we were simply too old (YEIKS) to mesh on a site that is geared to a younger crowd. We decided we needed a place where we could connect without all the rules and consequences. (Much like Blake felt about the Idol curfews) So here it is - Idol Bored Forums.... because even grown-ups have Idols.
